GNB and PNB unearthed 325 panels of cocaine

The shipment was arranged in thirteen bags each containing 25 panels of cocaine.

A total of 325 panels of cocaine were unearthed through a procedure carried out by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).

The place where the drugs were was on the coast of Chichiriviche (Falcón), a town where the officials arrived after processing information regarding drug concealment and trafficking, military sources explained.

The shipment was arranged in thirteen bags each containing 25 panels of cocaine, for a total of 325 that added up to 374 kilos and 540 grams, says the GNB preliminary report.

Investigations indicate that the drugs normally enter through La Goajira, pass through the Gulf of Venezuela, continue towards the coast of Falcón as it is the point that can serve as storage and supply.

From there it continues its traffic to international waters or eastern Venezuela to take it to Aruba, other islands and Europe, among other destinations.
