Two drug traffickers expelled 196 bags of cocaine 

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry

Two people carrying drugs on their bodies expelled a total of 196 cocaine bags, according to military sources. 

One of those involved is identified as Roseilys María Valdez, who was detained at the Citizen Service Point located in El Quebradon (Mérida). This woman came on a public transport unit from El Vigía (Mérida) and was headed to Barquisimeto (Lara). 

When approached by the military, Valdez confessed that she had drugs on her body, which is why she was transferred to the Type I Hospital in Caja Seca (Zulia). In that health center, the woman expelled 116 parades of cocaine weighing 760 grams, according to a report from Detachment 222 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB). 

In another procedure, Luis Antonio Silva Blanco was arrested in El Quebradon (Portuguesa), where GNB agents searched the public transport vehicle where this man was coming. 

Likewise, the man admitted that he had drugs in his body and was transferred to the Agua Blanca hospital (Portuguesa) where he expelled the sum of 80 cocaine fingers that totaled 1 kilo 305 grams. 

Silva Blanco was traveling from San Cristóbal (Táchira) and intended to reach Puerto La Cruz (Anzoátegui), according to a report from Detachment 312 of the GNB. 

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
