STALKER 2 reveals new trailer at Xbox Games Showcase 2024

The long-awaited first-person survival shooter will arrive on September 5 of this year on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass

GSC Game World returned for another Xbox broadcast to introduce us a new trailer of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the highly anticipated survival shooter, scheduled for release on September 5 this year at Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass.

The trailer, voiced entirely in Ukrainian, presents many new details and insights into the STALKER 2 experience in a way that many players of the franchise will be instantly familiar with. As players step into the shoes of a lone stalker named Skif, they must navigate a dangerous and enigmatic environment filled with dangerous mutants, dangerous radiation, and treacherous human factions.

This new trailer is packed with all-new reveals, showcasing a variety of experiences from diverse locations to encounters with mutants and archanomalies. Players will also see hubs where they can rest and prepare for their next intense mission.

Game footage is interspersed with narrative fragments, highlighting the importance of non-linear story in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Aptly titled “A Time of Opportunity,” the trailer reflects the limitless potential of this unforgiving landscape.

Through a press release, the studio assured that later this year they will reveal more details about the game before its release date.
