For this reason GTA 6 has not been announced to come to PC

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick says "Rockstar Games will make further announcements in due course"

In December of last year, Rockstar Games finally revealed the first official trailer for GTA 6 after a series of leaks that accelerated the marketing campaign for the long-awaited open-world action game. The trailer, which is made in the same graphics engine as the game, mentions that Grand Theft Auto 6 would arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2025, but made no mention of PC.

Now Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two has spoken about the decision not to announce the game's release on PC.

During an interview at a conference T. D. Cowen This week, Zelnick was asked if the lack of a PC announcement was set in stone or if the game could be confirmed for the platform at a later date.

“Well, as far as I know, a lack of an announcement is not something that can be set in stone, because the only thing that happens after a lack of an announcement is an announcement, I guess, or a continued lack of an announcement. I guess that could happen too. It doesn't seem to me that either of those things is definitive,” she told participants in the conference call.

He continued: “But Rockstar has a focus on the platforms we've seen before, and they will make more announcements in due course. “I think the right strategy for our business is to be where the consumer is, and historically what this company has done is target consumers wherever they are, on whatever platform makes sense, over time.”

It was expected that GTA 6 would not come to PC during its launch

Since 2008, Rockstar Games has a history of releasing games for consoles first before bringing them to PC at a later date, including Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, LA Noire, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

As of this writing, the original Red Dead Redemption has not arrived on PC. However, in May, shortly before its 14th anniversary, Rumors of his arrival at the Master Race began after Rockstar updated the game's website.

Take-Two also updated its financial guidance this month and announced that, despite not providing a specific release date, the title is scheduled to arrive between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 and hope that no delay will occur.
