Mario & Luigi: Brothership has been announced for Nintendo Switch

For the first time in nine years, the Bros team up in a new turn-based combat installment arriving November 7, 2024

You can never miss a Nintendo Direct without the presence of a new game starring Mario. However, this time he will not arrive alone for his next title, but he will also live his adventure with his brother with Mario and Luigi: Brothership.

Brothership is the first new entry in the Mario & Luigi series in almost nine years, and will arrive as a Nintendo Switch exclusive on November 7, 2024.

“All aboard for an island-hopping RPG adventure starring Mario and Luigi! The brothers are back for a new entry in the Mario & Luigi series, where they set sail on Shipshape Island (part ship, part island) to navigate the vast world of Concordia," is how Nintendo describes it in a statement. press.

“Play as the mustachioed couple and explore islands ranging from rainforests to bustling cities. Along the way, meet new friends to help you on your journey and encounter familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom like Peach and Bowser. Keep the Brotherhood afloat and rely on Mario and Luigi's bond to save the day, using their moves to overcome obstacles and their powerful attacks to claim victory in a dynamic twist on turn-based combat.”

One of the most striking things about this next installment is its artistic style with cel shading and quite colorful. Along with its turn-based battles, the game will have many mini-games throughout this new adventure starring the Bros.
