The Legend of Zelda producer talks about this collaboration with LEGO

Through the lego blog, Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma said: “I'm really excited for The Legend of Zelda to join the world of Lego bricks, which have stimulated the creative impulses of so many people of all ages.”

“The Deku tree was the first element of The Legend of Zelda that we wanted to represent using Lego bricks. This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with unique features that fit perfectly with the nature of the series. "I can't wait for everyone to have the opportunity to build this part of the world of The Legend of Zelda with their own hands."

Lego designer Wes Talbott commented: “Our fans have been asking for a Legoset based on The Legend of Zelda series for a while, so we're delighted to be working with Nintendo to create the Great Deku Tree in brick form.”

“As a fan of the franchise, it was fantastic to work on this set and fill it with details and references from the games. I'm also glad we were able to offer the option to create one of two versions to appeal to many Zelda fans. "I can't wait to see the fans' reaction to this set."
