The second season of Arcane already has a premiere date

Netflix confirmed the exact month in which the long-awaited animated sequel to the League of Legends universe would be released

On June 1, Netflix published a new teaser poster on X for the second season of Arcane. It will premiere in November and plans to continue the plot right where the previous season ended.

Reference Video

It's been almost 3 years since the first season of Arcane premiered and there has been no news since its latest Teaser trailer in January. However, with the release of this poster, users already know the exact date and theorize that it could premiere on the same day that the first season premiered in 2021.

The poster is a reference art to the teaser poster of the first season with the detail that both protagonists, now older, have changed places. Transmitting a totally different image contrary to the first poster.

Riot Games is expected to announce more content about this series throughout the year, either at the long-awaited Summer Game Fest or at the League of Legends 15th Anniversary celebration in October.

Neither Riot nor Netflix have made many statements regarding this series, users believe that a marketing campaign similar to when the first season was going to be released is being carried out. Showing only very short concept art to raise fans' expectations.

With the arrival of Arcane 2, promotional content is also expected in both League of Legends for PC and Wild Rift for mobile devices. Since in both games exclusive content related to the series came out.

As for the plot, not much else is known, other than that it continued with the story arcs of the first season. Piltover and Zaun will remain the main focus and it is unknown if more characters will come out of the game.
