Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn reveals its release date

The souls-like action role-playing game will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC this July 18

Pre-purchase is now available for all platforms, and Flintlock will also be available on Games Pass upon launch.

As if that were not enough, starting June 10 it will have its demo on PC through Steam, which places players at the beginning of the game, offering them a glimpse into Kian's world, as well as the opportunity to perfect their combat skills. .

But... What is Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn about?

Now the gods are loose, inadvertently freed by Nor, who must right his mistake with the help of his mysterious companion, Enki, by defeating them to save humanity before they take over the world.

Players begin their journey in Three Peaks, where they learn to use steel weapons and pistols, master counterattacks, mobility, gunpowder dodges as they embark on the quest to slay the gods. The battles are rhythmic and the combat is fast and fluid, with the best attacks chaining together combos.

Working with Enki adds another facet, as using his magic unlocks the ability to "curse" enemies. With each hit, the magic meter fills, and when fully prepared, players can perform critical attacks to strip armor from tougher enemies or kill them with a devastating blow.

With each encounter you gain "reputation", which can be used to upgrade weapons and armor and unlock new skills belonging to one of three paths: Gunpowder, Magic or Steel. Additionally, the demo allows players to challenge themselves on the demanding Taken difficulty mode, ideal for those who want a greater test of skill after mastering combat.
