“2XKO” the League of Legends fighter reveals the date of his alpha tests

This promises to be one of the great competitive fighters.

Riot Games has already started registrations for closed alpha tests for its fighting game 2XKO. Originally revealed as Project L, this League of Legends fighting game is a way to expand the intellectual property to other companies.

The game was first revealed in 2019, showcasing a 2v2 team-based fighting system, similar to the Marvel vs. Capcom or Dragon Ball FighterZ. 2XKO features a number of familiar League of Legends playable champions in its roster, such as Ekko, Ahri, and Yasuo.

in a new update video with executive producer Tom Cannon, 2XKO director Shaun Rivera, and Sajam, the three discuss the game's upcoming alpha test and what to expect.

According to Cannon, this will be an online-only playtest. This demo will contain an early version of the game, and this test will give players the opportunity to communicate and provide feedback on the game directly to the developers to refine it further.

Registration for the alpha test is now open and will take place from August 8 to 19, 2024. It is important to clarify that the test will also be available only in certain regions.

The Alpha Lab will take place from August 8 to 19, 2024

Minimum system requirements:

  • Intel i7-4790
  • Nvidia GTX 960 at 1080p
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • Windows 10

Players will be able to try this demo on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. To participate in the 2XKO alpha test, players must have a Riot Games account and complete a survey by August 8.

They will then be randomly selected and sent an email that includes information on how to download the game. There is also a refer-a-friend program, where selected players will get an additional link that grants them access to the Alpha Lab.

This link can only be redeemed once and players who access the game through this method will not receive a referral link to share.
