Venezuela and China consolidate strategic alliance

Foreign Minister Yván Gil arrived in China where he will carry out an extensive agenda to evaluate the progress of the agreements signed with that nation

The chancellor Yvan Gil arrived this Tuesday in the People's Republic of China, with the purpose of following up on bilateral cooperation agreements and consolidating the strategic relationship “at all tests and at all times” between the two nations.

The information was offered by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in his account on the social network signed agreements.

“We have arrived in the People's Republic of China to continue the work undertaken by President @NicolasMaduro in the consolidation of the strategic alliance “Any test and any time” between China and Venezuela. “We will be carrying out a broad agenda of evaluation and monitoring of the agreements that pursue the prosperity of our people,” he expressed.

It is timely to highlight that this monitoring is carried out around the agreements on economic, commercial, energy, financial, technological, communication, political and cultural matters that were signed by President Nicolás Maduro during his official visit to China in September 2023, recalled the Venezuelan News Agency.

On that occasion, the head of state was received by his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, who stated that China has always seen the development of relations with Venezuela from a strategic and long-term perspective, and that it is willing to work with Venezuela to chart the direction of future cooperation.
