Venezuela and China address issues regarding trade and cooperation

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez held a meeting with the International Trade Representative of China, Wang Shouwen

This Monday the Vice President Delcy Rodriguez held a meeting at the headquarters of the Vice Presidency in Caracas with the International Trade Representative of the People's Republic of China, Wang Shouwen, in which they addressed issues of trade and cooperation between both nations.

Along with the Vice Minister of Commerce of China, Lang Hun, Chinese ambassador to the country, and Lin Fen, director general of American and Oceanic Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of the Asian country, participate in the working meeting.

Present on behalf of Venezuela are José Félix Ribas Alvarado, sectoral vice president of the economic area, and the minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo.

Currently, Venezuela and China have more than 600 strategic agreements in various areas that are fundamental for the development of both peoples, which have been sealed with the humanistic vision of shared development and mutual respect, VTV reports.

With this meeting, the efforts to continue building a multicentric and pluripolar world are reaffirmed, the report states.
