Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP accompanied elections in Mexico

Jorge Arreaza assured that normality reigned in the electoral centers

The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, accompanied part of the electoral process that took place this Sunday in Mexico.

In a publication on his social network on account X, he expressed his satisfaction at having been able to witness the exercise of the Mexican vote.

“The electoral polls are now closing in Mexico. As Executive Secretary of @ALBATCP I express the honor of having been able to accompany the Mexican people on this historic day for the new democracy and equality. Normality reigned in the electoral centers and the people exercised their right to confirm the path of sovereignty and peace.

Earlier, in a post on Instagram he narrated his activity in Mexico City.

“Witnessing the largest elections in Mexican history. There are 98.329.591 million voters called to vote. We feel honored to accompany historical processes such as that of the thriving Mexican democracy,” he wrote on the network in which he posted a video in which he explains part of the process, which - he assures - developed normally.

“It is a manual process that is flowing quite well and we must wish Mexico the best in this mega-election, of more than 20 thousand positions that are being chosen today,” said Arreaza, during the tour of the electoral center of the Coyoacán population.

This Sunday, Mexicans chose the President of the Republic for the period 2024-2030, without the possibility of re-election.

Likewise, a total of 128 federal senators, 500 federal deputies, eight governorships, as well as who will occupy the head of Government of Mexico City, among other important positions.
