President Maduro honored Ebrahim Raisi at the Iranian embassy

The head of state reiterated his solidarity with the people of Iran in the face of the unfortunate physical departure of Ebrahim Raisi

This Thursday night, President Nicolás Maduro visited the residence of the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Caracas to honor President Ebrahim Raisi.

The first national leader was accompanied by the first combatant, Cilia Flores and the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, the embassy of the Persian country reports in its account X.

“It is an honor for me to be able to be present at the Kumail Prayer with deep respect and emotion in solidarity with the people of Iran, in the face of the unfortunate physical death of my friend Ebrahim Raisi. My solidarity hug, we will always be together in good times and bad. “Strength to the Persian people!” published the president Maduro in his account on the social network X.

Last Sunday, President Raisi, as well as Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, among other senior officials, died in a plane crash in East Azerbaijan province, northwest of Iran.

In this regard, on Monday, during his program “Con Maduro +”, the Venezuelan head of state reiterated his condolences for the death of Raisi, AVN reports.

In addition, he reaffirmed the brotherhood between both countries. “Not only can we say that we are friends, that we are allies, with Iran today we can say that we are brother peoples and as brother peoples our solidarity and all the support,” he said.
