Through a statement from the Conquistadores de la Sierra Self-Defense Forces- ACSN addressed to Presidents Gustavo Petro of Colombia and Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro respectively reaffirmed their will for peace, “convinced that its construction is the only way to achieve the desires for prosperity and tranquility that we owe to the communities that inhabit the territory under our protection.”

They made the letter known through a video broadcast on social networks where they respectfully request that President Gustavo Petro adopt the pertinent measures so that the Venezuelan authorities can have a direct dialogue “with our organization” to give them the information and thus initiate the respective judicial proceedings.

The General Staff of the Conquistadores de la Sierra Self-Defense Forces - ACSN, ​​addresses you, leaders, reaffirming our will for peace, convinced that its construction is the only way to achieve the desires for prosperity and tranquility that we owe to the communities. that inhabit the territory under our protection.

We want you to know first-hand the situation that arose with groups from the neighboring country that sought our influence to alter the democratic system.

This is why we decided to make public through a statement on July 05, 2024, this is an event of great importance for the two territories, whose border we share without any interference in the designs of the neighboring country.

We respectfully request, Mr. President Gustavo Petro, that you adopt the pertinent measures so that the Venezuelan authorities can have a direct dialogue with our organization to give them the information and thus initiate the respective judicial proceedings.

We have learned of the pronouncement of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, with reference to our information, and we have the moral obligation to deliver it to him for the purposes he deems necessary.

We reiterate that this act of peace originates in respect for the electoral processes and democracy in Venezuela so that real peace is built and violence stops for the good of the people we protect and the neighbors, who also have right to self-determination.

In response to the request made by the head of State, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), Tarek William Saab, reported that he appointed the 83rd prosecutor of National jurisdiction to begin investigations and sanction new threats of assassination against the Chief. of State Nicolás Maduro, after making public a statement from a paramilitary group called “Conquering Self-Defense Forces of the Sierra”, better known as “Los Pachencas”.
