Netherlands denies arrival of Simón Bolívar Training Ship to Curacao

Minister Padrino López described the action as "Another wrong step of the archaic and disastrous European arrogance"

The Netherlands denied the arrival of the Simón Bolívar Training Ship to the island of Curacao, scheduled for next Wednesday, July 3, the Minister of Defense reported this Friday. Vladimir Padrino Lopez through a publication on your account on the social network X.

In the message, the also Sectoral Vice President of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, described the action as "Another wrong step of the archaic and disastrous European arrogance", while warning that it does not affect the course of integration in the region that requires the end of colonialism.

“The Netherlands has denied at the last minute the arrival of the Simón Bolívar Training Ship to Curacao, scheduled for #3Jul. Another wrong step of archaic and disastrous European arrogance! This does not divert us from the course of integration in a region that cries out for THE END OF COLONIALISM,” Padrino López published on the social network.

During the XXXIV Caribbean Integration Foreign Training Cruise, the Simón Bolívar Training Ship (BE-11) has toured different countries in the region.

Recently, it arrived at the seaport of Santa Marta, in Colombia, with a message of peace, union, integration and loyalty.

Previously, the Training Ship visited the ports of Cuba, Santo Domingo, Honduras and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The Simón Bolívar Training Ship is commanded by Captain Ronald Briceño Huerta, and for three months it will sail some 4.500 nautical miles to complete the XXXIV Foreign Instruction Cruise.
