More than 4500 police officers mobilize against the sanctions

Commander of the PNB reaffirmed the willingness to protect every corner of the national geography and the people of Venezuela

Manifesting his commitment to the people, as well as to the Bolivarian Government and rejecting the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States Government, nearly 4 officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) marched this Tuesday from Plaza Los Símbolos (San Pedro Parish) to the Helicoide headquarters, in Caracas.

There, thousands of police officials signed to record their rejection of the sanctions and the demand for their immediate cessation.

In this regard, the Chief Commissioner Rubén Darío Santiago, National Commander of the PNB, specified in a contact with VTV that "we have marched first to give our unrestricted support to our Commander in Chief, the only constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (...) and also to categorically and with all the energy of our men and women, the 936 unilateral coercive measures imposed by the Joe Biden government.”

He pointed out that they know that such measures have been implemented to weaken the people. “They are trying to weaken this people, son of Guacaipuro, son of Bolívar, today more than ever son of Chávez, to break that peace that our Commander in Chief has achieved today.”

Firmly determined to protect and serve the Venezuelan people

He added that the Bolivarian Revolution counts on the men and women of the PNB, who "more than ever we are firmly determined to defend, protect and serve these people of Venezuela, these noble people above all things, our revolution."

Likewise, he reaffirmed that the PNB will protect every corner, every space of the national geography and will defend above all things "the peace of the Venezuelan people."

It should be noted that all members of the security forces and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) signed against the measures applied by the United States. With this they join the thousands of public officials who they have stamped their signature to demand the end of the blockade against the country.
