Maduro: If the US wants oil, it must pay for it at the market price

The head of state repudiated Francisco Palmieri's recent statements where he "expresses himself as if Venezuela belonged to the gringos."

During his pilgrimage through the country, President Nicolás Maduro assured this Wednesday from the state of Miranda, specifically from Caucagua, municipality of Acevedo, that if the government of the United States (USA) wants to obtain our oil, it must pay it at international market prices.

“US Government, if you want oil from Venezuela you have to pay for it at the market price, the oil is from Venezuela, not from the gringos,” he expressed.

Likewise, the head of state repudiated Francisco Palmieri's recent statements where he "expresses himself as if Venezuela belonged to the gringos."

“There came a man named Palmieri from the gringos and he talks as if the gringos owned Venezuela (…) Mr. Palmieri, US Government, if you want oil from Venezuela you have to pay for it at the market price, the oil is from "Venezuela, not the gringos," he expressed energetically and applauded by those present at the rally from Caucagua, Miranda state.

Maduro reiterated his willingness to dialogue with the United States government as long as it is carried out within the framework of respect for our sovereignty and independence.

On the other hand, the National President asserted that the Venezuelan opposition does not represent peace or sovereignty or the future of the country. Likewise, he stressed that the only thing they seek is to deliver the wealth of the people to the empires.

In addition, Maduro stated that the right's plan is to privatize, among other things, education.

"Their only plan is to hand us over to the gringos, it is to hand over our wealth to the oligarchy, that is why in Venezuela we say to the oligarchy and the gringos: They will not return, they will never return in their lives!", he emphasized.

Likewise, President Maduro emphasized that the Venezuelan people have resisted all foreign attacks and blockades requested by the opposition.

For this reason, the Dignitary called on the people to be prepared to achieve victory on July 28 and urged them to work to defeat the economic war and recover the comprehensive well-being of the nation.
