A year ago, President Maduro signed 31 agreements with China to strengthen economic cooperation in strategic areas. Seven commissions were created and 31 lines of work were drawn up to deepen financial, economic and commercial relations in oil, gas, industry, mining, agriculture, infrastructure, communication and tourism.

Also, in his account Today we celebrate with great happiness 50 years of a friendship that is unbreakable, unbreakable and at all times. A big hug to my older brother, President Xi Jingping, and to all the Chinese people. China and Venezuela always united.”

According to the Foreign Ministry, the anniversary program began on June 25, and includes exhibitions, workshops, concerts, tastings, dances, martial arts and drums, among other activities that show the historical and cultural heritage of both towns.

Caracas and Beijing established diplomatic relations on June 28, 1974, which were strengthened until reaching their current maximum level of Comprehensive Strategic Alliance “Any Proof and All Weather”, from the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution in 1999 and the vision strategic position of Commander Hugo Chávez, which is maintained and consolidated by President Nicolás Maduro.

In 50 years of cooperation and mutual brotherhood, Venezuela and China have managed to sign more than 600 agreements in areas of common interest, leaving for granted the commitment to deep and expanding cooperation, which paves the way towards the realization of a new world order. .
