The President of the Republic and candidate for reelection for the Great Patriotic Pole, Nicolás Maduro assured this Thursday from the state of Zulia that the opposition is “perverse, criminal that causes harm and as a government it is worse.”

“We have to be clear that the opposition is perverse, it is criminal, they do a lot of damage and as a government; They are worse (…) When the right wins; the people lose,” he stated.

Maduro pointed out that this Thursday he signed an agreement with eight opposition candidates to recognize the electoral results of next July 28. ”I signed because I want peace for Venezuela (…) I signed because I respect democratic institutions, that's why I signed the document,” he said.

“I signed the compromise agreement because I trust the people and I know that we will win firmly,” he said.

In this regard, Maduro was emphatic in pointing out that he will not allow more guarimbas in the country. “We are not going to allow guarimbas before, during, or after July 28.”
