Jorge Rodríguez: The right only recognizes the elections when it wins

The coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Siglo XXI command showed the manipulation carried out by the right on social networks of the electoral issue in Mexico and Venezuela

Jorge Rodriguez, general coordinator of the Venezuela Campaign Command Our 21st century, pointed out this Tuesday that “the right only recognizes elections when it wins them,” when offering statements from the Bolívar Theater in Caracas.

In contrast, he recalled that in 31 elections Chavismo has been defeated only twice and in both cases it has recognized it immediately. One in 2007 – “and the first to recognize it with nobility was Commander Chávez” – and the other in 2015.

Before representatives of the media, Rodríguez showed examples of the manipulation carried out by the right through social networks of the electoral issue in Mexico and drew a parallel with the situation in Venezuela.

In this regard, highlighted the actions of media conglomerates and far-right factors during the elections in the two countries.

In the Mexican case, he highlighted that, after the announcement of the results of the victory of the left, the media conglomerate and the right of that country began to chant fraud, just as the opposition has done in different elections in Venezuela.

Mexican ultra right is equal to the Venezuelan

“The Mexican ultra-right is the same as the Venezuelan ultra-right (…) The right takes lies and since they have communication tools, psychological warfare tools, they are dedicated to trying to impose matrices through bots,” he said when showing news from the media that seek to tarnish Sheinbaum's image, just as they have done with President Nicolás Maduro.

Continuing with the case of Mexico, he showed headlines from right-wing international media in which they published evidently contradictory versions about the position of the defeated candidate in the elections, Xóchitl Gálvez, as well as other information matrices.

In his speech, the president of the National Assembly (AN) also explained the way in which matrices are set up on social networks with wide-angle photos to show that right-wing factors enjoy supposed popularity.

Likewise, he warned that the Venezuelan extreme right is not in an electoral campaign.

In this regard, he pointed out that, like the Mexican extreme right, Venezuelan extremists intend to claim fraud after the presidential elections on July 28, and will try to promote violence again.

Given this, he warned that anyone who violates the peace of the country will have to go to prison.

“Here we are going to peaceful elections, commit to recognizing the results,” he noted. “We demand that they respect the Constitution and the laws,” he added.

Congratulations to Mexico

The general coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, extended his congratulations to the new elected president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, as well as the Mexican people.

“We come in the name of the candidate of peace, of President Nicolás Maduro, first to congratulate the beautiful people of Mexico and the first female president of the United States of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, who has been elected in a stunning manner by men and women. brave people of the people,” he expressed.

Likewise, he recognized the outgoing president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Morena party and the political organizations that were part of the alliance that led Sheinbaum to victory.

“We congratulate a worthy, brave man, a man who achieved great transformations in a society that had been sickened by the action of the right and the empires that subjugate and try to subjugate the free peoples of the world; “That man is President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who was always a good friend of Venezuela and to whom we pay all tributes for his courage and clarity of thought,” he emphasized.
