The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, held a meeting with representatives of the National Risk Management System (SNGR) in order to generate joint action plans for risk mitigation in the event of possible natural disasters in the region.

“We are going to proceed to propose a Plan for prevention, rapid response, care and reconstruction in the face of natural disasters in the ALBA region and beyond,” Arreaza explained through his account on the social network X.

In this sense, he highlighted that the experience of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force will be fundamental for the technical, operational and strategic training and training of personnel from the countries in the region.

Likewise, he recalled that the ALBA countries agreed, at the summit on April 23, to create joint policies for risk management in the nations that make up this regional bloc.
