Colombians in Venezuela will celebrate their Independence

They will make a floral offering before the remains of the Liberator Simón Bolívar

The Colombian Embassy in Venezuela invited its fellow citizens in the country to celebrate the 214 years of the cry of Independence next Friday, July 19, with several activities in Caracas.

They will commemorate the national day, first, with a floral offering before the remains of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in the National Pantheon; Later, they will attend a musical concert that will be held at the Simón Bolívar Park in La Carlota, according to the Colombian Ambassador to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo Hernández.

These events are organized by the Colombian diplomatic mission, in order to exalt the independence of their country and bring together associations of Colombians, businessmen, students, diplomatic corps and authorities of the Venezuelan government, as well as other communities of foreigners residing in the Bolivarian nation.

The floral offering at the National Pantheon will be held at 10 am, with the participation of members of the diplomatic and consular mission, Procolombia, diplomatic corps accredited in Caracas, representatives of Colombian associations and authorities of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs from Venezuela.

Starting at 3 pm, at the Concha Acústica of Simón Bolívar Park in La Carlota, a concert will be held with the participation of: Ma Silena Ovalle; Classic Caribbean Sonero; Fabián Santamaría; Pacho Ortiz and his group; National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela; The People of Diomedes; and the Pasillaneando group.

The Ambassador of Colombia Milton Rengifo highlighted the implementation of these activities, the first carried out by the diplomatic mission, after the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Venezuela.
