China and Venezuela promote joint projects

Foreign Minister Yván Gil met this Wednesday with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, with whom he evaluated the progress of the agreements signed in the XVII High-Level Joint Commission

In order to promote the joint projects agreed between Venezuela and China in terms of economic and social development, Foreign Minister Yván Gil held a meeting this Wednesday with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.

This was made known by Gil through his account on the social network @NicolasMaduro, we met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi, to promote the joint projects agreed between our countries, especially in terms of economic and social development. With this visit, we strengthen the friendship and strategic cooperation between China and Venezuela, for the benefit of our region and the multipolar world.

Foreign Minister Gil is in China to evaluate the progress of the agreements signed in the XVII High Level Joint Commission (CMAN).

The XVII High Level Joint Commission (CMAN) was held in September 2023 during the trip of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to the Asian nation.

The friendly Sino-Venezuelan ties constitute a kind of relations between State and State, which are based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit with a view to the future and correspond to the fundamental interests of both countries and peoples.
