Candidate Martínez participates in the simulation: the process is very friendly

He invited Venezuelans to come to the voting centers to participate.

The opposition candidate Luis Eduardo Martínez participated this Sunday in the electoral simulation called by the National Electoral Council (CNE), ahead of the presidential elections on July 28.

From school “Felipe Guevara Rojas” from Maracay, Aragua state, Martínez expressed in statements to the media that he was able to verify that the process is going according to what was established in the electoral schedule.

“We have evaluated the progress of the electoral process and were able to verify yesterday that the electoral schedule has been met exactly: the audits and each of the steps have been activated,” he said.

He noted that according to his evaluation “we are at step number 75, which guarantees that the 28 presidential elections will be held on July 2024 without any problems.”

For the opponent, the electoral simulation “is very important,” and added that he participated as a citizen to verify that “the process is friendly, simple and very fast.”

“It is worth coming to practice for presidential elections,” he invited.

100% of tables installed

Earlier this Sunday, the rector principal and president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, reported that all the electoral material, CNE personnel and the total number of machines enabled for this Sunday's simulation are now 100% installed.

“100% assistance from the CNE technical staff nationwide, 100% of the machines installed in all electoral centers,” Amoroso said while highlighting that this day is a historic day that strengthens Venezuelan democracy.
