In his speech, Gil exalted the significance of the exploits and thought of the Liberator Simón Bolívar (1783-1830), born in Caracas, in the emancipation and regional integration of Latin America and the growth of Venezuela's relations with China, since its establishment on June 28, 1974, half a century ago.

On Wednesday, Gil met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, with whom he discussed the promotion of the joint projects agreed upon in the last High-Level Joint Commission (CMAN), especially in matters of economic and social development.

Gil is in the Asian country at the head of a delegation that evaluates and monitors the agreements signed during the visit of President Nicolás Maduro in September 2023, in the consolidation of the strategic alliance "Any test and any time" between the two. countries.
