Chancellor addressed action plans with ambassadors in ALBA countries

Yván Gil held a videoconference with each of the ambassadors with the objective of "strengthening regional integration in a constant and effective manner"

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a videoconference this Friday with the ambassadors of Venezuela in the countries that make up the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP).

In his X account, the chancellor said that the objective of the videoconference is to “strengthen regional integration in a constant and effective manner.”

“We have participated in a meeting with the Venezuelan ambassadors in the ALBA-TCP countries to address action plans that benefit our people within the framework of the mandate of the recent XXIII ALBA Summit held in Caracas,” he stated.

On April 24, the XXIII summit of the alliance was held in the city of Caracas in which, among other things, the relaunch of Petrocaribe and the creation of an agency to mitigate the effects of climate change were approved.

The heads of State and Government who participated in the summit also reaffirmed the need to strengthen the unity of the bloc, cooperation, exchange and complementarity.
