AN approved new ambassadors in Kenya and Congo

The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the appointment of citizen Laura Evangelia Suárez, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of the Congo, concurrent to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Central African Republic, as well as ambassador Permanent Representative to the Organization of African Petroleum Producers, based in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.

It was learned that in order to begin his roadmap for cooperation, Suárez is considering a cultural approach through the “Simón Bolívar Youth and Children's Orchestra System”, as a leading role in eradicating violence.

Likewise, the parliamentarians of the AN approved by a qualified majority the appointment of citizen Moravia Peralta Hernández, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the Republic of Kenya, as well as concurrent in Somalia and Tanzania.

In this same order, she will be Ambassador Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, based in Nairobi, Kenya and the East African Community, based in Arusha Tanzania .
