It has always been said that one of the senses and meanings of the nation is the sense of belonging that its inhabitants feel and according to the cultural-historical aspects that are common to them and that they share from a symbolic reality, where they are included by example: language, territory, customs, national anthem and a flag... that make up an entire identity towards the homeland, from the family where one is born, to the country that produces a specific nationality...

The existence of a strong bond from a deep and complex socialization process of being citizens of a great “Home – Motherland” that makes us see ourselves as a “brotherhood – countrymanship” with an identity relationship with historical events is very significant. the heroes and heroines, which include language, idiom and gastronomy...

However, it is very unfortunate how, from a political-partisan point of view in Venezuela, the political extremism of the so-called anti-Chavist extreme right has wanted to radically differentiate itself from all Venezuelans, who have a solid concept about the homeland, in which these extremist groups have wanted to sell the idea that this “cheap jingoism” is pure corny, since they consider the country as something non-existent, not worth defending…

Political extremism does not believe in homeland, or in anything similar, the fate of Venezuela does not hurt them at all... that is why they are so friendly to the application of sanctions and blockades against the country, since they do not The so-called “collateral damage” that affects the quality of life of its inhabitants matters, because they do not consider themselves anyone's countrymen...

When they are told that all this totally anti-nationalist political attitude of the “Venezuelan” extreme right… and that they feel closer to the United States and the European Union than to Venezuela, they respond with an unusual audacity that “the first thing is the homeland” is an obsolete and very naive concept, which makes no sense to defend the general interest of a nation and only the individual well-being of the most fit and able is important, since everything else is simply vulgar populism…

That's why they don't care if they steal Citgo, give away the gold and El Essequibo...
