This was reported by the Minister of Tourism, Alí Padrón, who handed over these kiosks together with the mayor of the Arismendi municipality, Alí Romero and the sole authority of the Special Economic Zone, Samir Al Attrach.

“We are delivering these beautiful kiosks that will dignify the work of our empanadas who have been working here for many years and who, thanks to the work of the mayor of the Arismendi municipality, are dignifying themselves as our president Nicolás Maduro has instructed to provide the best possible service to the tourists,” Padrón said.

A beach with many potentials

At Gucuco Beach, the national government and the mayor's office continue to work to provide the best experience to their visitors, as stated by Mayor Alí Romero.

“We continue working hand in hand with the Ministry of Tourism and the Special Economic Zone because Guacuco is one of the best beaches on the island that we still have to take full advantage of from the point of view of its tourist development in harmony with nature,” Romero said.

For his part, Samir Al Attrach, authority of the Special Economic Zone, highlighted the potential of this Margarita beach.

“This is one of the most beautiful beaches we have in Nueva Esparta, located minutes from the most important city that is Porlamar and is being empowered to become the new pole of tourist development in this sector of Nueva Esparta,” said Al Attract.

A dream come true

Miriam Díaz, one of the Guacuco beach bakers who benefited from the kiosk, highlighted that she had long dreamed of having this type of structure for her work in a more comfortable way and protected from the sun.

“I have a history of 26 years of service here in Guacuco beach, thanks to God and the Virgen del Valle and President Nicolás Maduro for having fulfilled one of many dreams,” said Díaz.

The Ministry of Tourism together with the Ministry of Ecosocialism is evaluating the possibility of installing this type of kiosks on other beaches on the island of Margarita such as El Agua and El Yaque.
