In Nueva Esparta, more than a thousand social aid has been delivered with the 1×10

Minister Alí Padrón, godfather of the island entity, delivered orthopedic wheelchairs, canes, walkers, among other social aid

More than a thousand people have been assisted with the delivery of social aid through the 1×10 of Good Government in the state of Nueva Esparta to guarantee them a higher quality of life, in accordance with the social protection policies of President Nicolás Maduro.

This was reported by the godfather of the 1×10 of Good Government in the island entity, the Minister of Tourism, Alí ​​Padrón during a day of delivery of this type of attention that was carried out from the facilities of the Venetur hotel.

“Since we took over as godfather of Good Government in Nueva Esparta, we have been serving all the municipalities. Every day we are making house-to-house deliveries and today we came to make a delivery of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and mattresses. All these human aids that we give from the heart to heal the wounds left by the sanctions and the blockade,” Padrón emphasized.

A tool for the people

Beneficiaries of the 1×10 of Good Government highlight the efficiency of this tool created by the president to serve the people in their different needs.

Maritza Rodríguez, a resident of the Gómez municipality, requested a wheelchair for her mother who has no mobility in her legs and promptly received this donation from Minister Alí Padrón.

“Thanks to President Maduro's government, I am receiving this wheelchair for my mother who really needed it very urgently. Many thanks to President Nicolás Maduro for creating this great tool that gives us the opportunity to be served efficiently,” said Rodríguez.

Likewise, Brisly Mota, a resident of the García municipality, requested a pediatric walker for her seven-year-old son who suffered a stroke that left him with motor difficulties.

“This walker that I am receiving today helps me a lot with my son so that he can start taking little steps. He hasn't walked for four years and he really needs a lot of attention, so this is a great help for us,” said Mota.

On this day, 15 social aids were delivered, including orthopedic wheelchairs, canes, and walkers; resources were also approved for high-cost surgical interventions, among other services.
