BDV credit portfolio for May exceeds $500 million

Agroproductive and commercial sectors concentrate 84,3% of the financial support of the Bank of Venezuela

During the current month the credit portfolio of the Bank of Venezuela (BDV) exceeded 500 million dollars, thereby reaffirming its commitment to boosting the national economy, the financial entity reported in a press release.

In this regard, he specified that the agricultural and commercial sectors concentrate 84,3% of the financial support.

In this sense, he pointed out that, as part of its focus on supporting the policies issued by the Government for the development and growth of emerging sectors, from January 2023 to date the BDV has served more than 318 thousand natural clients through its different credit programs and instruments.

He specified that through an expeditious and digital mechanism, the BDV liquidated
unprecedented 67 credits through the Credimujer program, to registered women
in the Great Venezuela Women Mission. Likewise, she granted 40
financing for youth enrolled in the Great Young Venezuela Mission.

Additionally, with its flagship EmprendeBDV program, it has settled more than 14
financing to reach more than 48,62 million dollars that strengthen the Entrepreneurial Engine of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, the circular states.

On the other hand, the banking entity increased the credit card limit of more than 245 thousand clients, which doubles because, in addition to the credit, they can request special financing for the same amount and obtain the cash in their account immediate.

In this way, the Bank of Venezuela continues to develop innovative mechanisms to expand access options to credit, and thereby strengthen the country's entrepreneurs as part of economic diversification.
