They protest against increased gasoline prices in Ecuador

Members of the National Union of Educators and the Federation of University Students of Ecuador warned that this increase affects the lives of the population.

Given the increase in gasoline prices established by the Government of Ecuador, blockades were recorded in several streets of Quito (capital) and Guayaquil in protest against the measure.

In addition, the FEUE called for a mobilization throughout Ecuador for next July 4.

In mid-June, the Government of Ecuador announced the increase in the prices of extra gasoline and ecopaís, from 26 cents per gallon, increasing the value of gasoline from 2,465 to 2,725 dollars.
