A historic farewell ceremony for the martyred president has been held with the participation of millions of Iranians in this city.

According to the Mashad city council, more than 3 million people have participated in the ceremony to say goodbye to the martyred president.

During the ceremony, mourners chanted slogans to reiterate their loyalty to the Islamic revolution and at the same time reject intimidation from the West, especially the United States.

In addition, they also reaffirmed their support for the Palestinians until their liberation from the yoke of the Israeli occupation regime.

The body of martyred President Raisi was brought to Mashad after a massive funeral procession took place in the city of Biryand (east) this Thursday morning on the fourth day of national mourning.

Earlier, millions of people took part in imposing funeral processions for the president and his companions in the cities of Tabriz, Qom and Tehran.
