Colombian police capture “Larry Changa”, member of the Aragua Train

The criminal was captured in a rural area of ​​Circasia, Quindío

The National Police of Colombia captured Larry Amaury Álvarez Núñez, one of the members of the Aragua Train criminal gang who was wanted in Chile and Venezuela for the crimes of terrorism, arms trafficking, aggravated extortion, kidnapping, among others.

This was reported by Colombian President Gustavo Petro in his X account, detailing that Álvarez Núñez had an arrest warrant in 196 countries by Interpol.

“He would have arrived in Colombia in 2022, obtaining false documents. “He was in charge of the criminal strategy for the territorial expansion of the 'Aragua Train' in Colombian territory,” reported the Colombian Ministry of Defense.

Known by the alias Larry “Changa”, the criminal was captured in a rural area of ​​Circasia, Quindío, in the center of that country.

“The message for all their leaders is clear: we will continue pursuing them until we capture them so that they pay for their crimes and for damaging the tranquility of Colombians,” emphasized the Defense portfolio.

Larry Changa founded the criminal organization together with Héctor Guerrero, alias 'Niño Guerrero', and Johan José Romero, better known as “Johan Petrica”, who are fugitives from justice and have international arrest warrants.

The capture of Larry Changa is also added to that of Salomón Fernández Torres, alias “El Salomón”, identified as another líder negative of the criminal group in Bogotá and Soacha; and Yonayke Martínez Carrión, alias “El Barbero”, wanted in Venezuela for charges of “terrorism, aggravated extortion, criminal association and arms trafficking,” reports a note on the RT portal.
