For the second consecutive day, Monagas takes to the streets to mobilize against the sanctions

For the second consecutive day and in the afternoon, a massive mobilization marched in defense of the homeland, through the streets of the capital of Barrancas del Orinoco, Sotillo municipality of Monagas state.

Once again the great red tide manifested itself in favor of the protection of sovereignty and in rejection of the interventionist policies of the United States against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

4 people took to the streets under the direction of the governor of the eastern entity, Ernesto Luna, accompanied by the mayor of the jurisdiction, José Gregorio Maldonado; the political liaison Carlos Rojas, in addition to the entire Chavista machinery of the Psuv, national deputies together with women and men who believe in the revolutionary project led by the elected president, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

In his speech, Luna rejected the displays of hatred from some sectors of the Venezuelan opposition; and reiterated his call for peace and popular participation.

“We have to continue looking for ways to continue working, the US government, as it has no more arguments, applies sanctions, bombs towns and has the audacity to talk about Human Rights. Enough blocking and chasing,” Luna said.

Meanwhile, Mayor José Gregorio Maldonado stated that with, “civility, joy and love it was demonstrated today that a brave people is clearly, a revolutionary people that marches against the sanctions, the blockade and in support of the first national leader.” .

He called for participation, this July 28, and took the opportunity to announce the delivery of the rehabilitation work at the Sotillo hospital.
