More than 6 thousand registered in the Grandfathers of the Homeland Mission in Monagas

They update data on older adults in Monagas to receive benefits

The sole authority of Misiones and Grandes Misiones and secretary of Somos Venezuela Government in the entity, Yenibel Lugo, reported that the Gran Misión Abuelos y Abuelas de la Patria registers 6 registered in the state of Monagas.

“In the accompaniment of the brigade members, the team from the Venezuelan Insurance Institute (…) complying with the guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro and Governor Ernesto Luna, to shelter and protect our older adults,” he indicated.

Lugo highlighted that every Saturday the “More Years, More Love” event will be held, which belongs to the first vertex of the Great Grandfathers and Grandmothers of Homeland Mission. “We will visit each of the 13 municipalities to comprehensively serve all our older adults,” he explained.

He explained that the census consists of recording specific data, among which physical, health and economic conditions stand out.

Registration in 5 municipalities of the Monagas state

The sole authority of Misiones detailed that the registration day has been carried out in five municipalities of the entity, adding to date in Maturín 4 grandparents, in Punceres 129, in Uracoa 85, in Libertador 362 and in Aguasay 821.

“In this registry, when a grandfather or grandmother is detected without the benefit of the pension, they are immediately incorporated into the Amor Mayor plan,” he said.

The official added that, this weekend, a registration day was scheduled in the La Pica, San Simón and Alto de Los Godos parishes of the Maturín municipality, and that the rest of the localities will be attended to progressively.

He mentioned that, on a continuous basis, brigade members will be activated to complete this registry successfully in the region.
