Security and prevention officials demand an end to the blockade

PNB, PoliMonagas, PoliMaturín, Firefighters, among other officials collect signatures to say no to the blockade

In the afternoon of this Tuesday, May 28, officials from the prevention and citizen security organizations of the Monagas state signed for the immediate cessation of the blockade and sanctions against Venezuela by the government of Joe Biden.

The event took place in Hugo Chávez Square in the city of Maturín and had the massive participation of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), PoliMonagas, PoliMaturín, Firefighters, Civil Protection, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc ), Administrative Health Fund Foundation for the Mpprijp, its Attached Bodies and Entities (Fasmij), National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT), Ven 911 and annexed institutions of the Preventive Front.

The Secretary of Prevention and Citizen Security and director of PoliMonagas, Colonel (FANB) Eduardo Alberto Almérida Padrón, indicated that at the headquarters of the risk management, security and protection institutions, the collection of signatures in support of President Nicolás Maduro and against the illegal unilateral coercive measures that the United States has imposed on Venezuela.

“Officials from the citizen security organizations and the Preventive Front sign for the country and demand that Biden lift the blockade now.”

He highlighted that last week, Governor Ernesto Luna and all the institutions of the regional Executive expressed themselves in a similar day from the Rómulo Gallegos square in Maturín and in the Bolívar squares in the rest of the municipalities.

“With the legacy of our commander Hugo Chávez, and hand in hand with our president Nicolás Maduro, we will continue to win,” said Almérida Padrón.
