The rains that fell during the last 24 hours in the entity of Merida affected the municipalities of Antonio Pinto Salinas, (Santa Cruz de Mora), Libertador (Mérida), Santos Marquina (Tabay), and Zea with incidents in five parishes and eleven sectors. leaving a balance of two impacted homes, one affected family and two evacuated people, as reported by the regional director of Civil Protection (PC), Luis Lobo Sivoli, during the radio program Patria que Lucha.

Through the Instagram social network, the account @proteccioncivilmerida details that in the Gonzalo Picón Febres parish of the Libertador municipality, a home was affected by the collapse of the stormwater system, and another home located in the Santo Marquina municipality due to a landslide .

The publication also indicates that officials are active 24 hours a day to provide support and protection in emergency situations.
