Portuguese tour operators explore tourist areas of Venezuela

The initiative seeks to consolidate relationships that boost the Venezuelan economy

In order to promote the tourist benefits of Venezuela, tourism promoters from the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Apavt), carried out a familiarization trip to the different destinations of the country.

This was announced by the Vice Minister of International Tourism; Leticia Gómez, who pointed out that as part of their tour, they had the opportunity to visit the Los Roques Archipelago National Park.

The tour operators began their trip in the state of Aragua, where they enjoyed the Tourist Routes “Chuao, Cacao, Sabor, Encanto y Tradición” and “San Mateo Es Bolívar”, in turn, they enjoyed the gastronomy and natural places. Later, they visited the Los Roques Archipelago National Park.

Likewise, they toured the state of Nueva Esparta, recognized for its cultural and heritage history, the starting point for other tourist routes in Venezuela. For its part, the Apavt delegation was led by its president, Pedro Costa, along with six tour operators and investors.

These actions are promoted by the national government through the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, to strengthen the promotion of commercialization between national and international factors and consolidate relationships that boost the Venezuelan economy.
