Flights to Margarita, Sucre and Tucupita suspended due to Hurricane Beryl

Inac announced as a preventive measure the suspension of flights after the movement of the phenomenon through the Caribbean Sea

The Minister for Transport, Ramon Velasquez Araguayan, reported that due to the passage of Hurricane Beryl through Venezuelan territory, the suspension of flights to the states of Nueva Esparta and Sucre was ordered.

The Minister also indicated that boat departures in said entities are also suspended; as preventive measures, taken to guarantee operational safety and the well-being of the population.

For its part, the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) of Venezuela indicated that specialized teams are on alert for changes in atmospheric conditions in case it is necessary to take measures to guarantee transportation safety and through a statement, announced the suspension of flights.

Earlier, vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that the National Risk Alert Management System to prevent eventualities derived from the rains that could generate the Hurricane Beryl as it passes through the Caribbean Sea.
