Works supervised at the India Urquía thermoelectric plant in Miranda

As part of the Electric Power Plan developed by the National Government throughout the country, the progress in the repair works at the India Urquía thermoelectric plant, located in the Valles del Tuy, Miranda state, was inspected.

The works correspond to units 11, 21 and 22, aimed at increasing the generation of the thermoelectric plant to continue optimizing the electricity supply, stressed the general director of Crime Prevention, Jacob Gray, who was part of the inspection team together with the Corporation National Electricity (Corpoelec).

"Following instructions from the vice president of Services and Public Works, M / G Néstor Reverol, we verified the progress, repairs and restorations of units 11, 21 and 22 of the India Urquía thermoelectric plant, which will contribute 150 MW to the shielding of Greater Caracas", Gray detailed.

Corpoelec has been carrying out maintenance and adaptation works in the different thermoelectric plants, to supply and guarantee national energy requirements.
