It should be noted that the services of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the “JM de los Ríos” Hospital are strengthened thanks to the comprehensive adaptation of spaces, as well as the provision of furniture and medical equipment; In addition, the places available for the care of boys and girls are expanded to 11, said the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez.

The renovated Intensive Care Unit of JM de los Ríos now has portable x-ray equipment, as well as ultrasound, laboratory, heating, and especially a human team dedicated to caring for girls and boys, an area that will benefit more than 18 thousand families.

For her part, the mayor of Caracas highlighted that with the delivery of this repowered area, about 5 children from the point and circle and from other states of the country are served monthly.
