Together they extend an open invitation to participate in this initiative that will take place from September 5 to 7 in the city of San Cristóbal.

This exchange is emerging as a preamble to the Venezuela International Tourism Fair (Fitven) 2024, positioning itself as a launching platform for future collaborations and tourism projects between both nations.

It is worth noting that the Colombian Parliament recently approved the Agreement for the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments, signed by the two countries in February 2023.

The objective is to consolidate a legal instrument that regulates and promotes binational investments and that, in turn, provides a minimum legal framework of guarantees.

The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Germán Umaña Mendoza, assured that it is a fundamental element in the Government's purpose to restore, normalize and strengthen bilateral relations with Venezuela.

The agreement with Venezuela establishes a dispute resolution system, both between States, through diplomatic channels, and between investors and States.
