First tropical wave generated downpours in several states

Internet users stated that in the states of Miranda and Aragua, drizzles were recorded from 9:00 am, while in Portuguesa and some parts of Carabobo, such as Valencia, Guacara and Bejuma, it began around 8:00 am.

In Guárico it began to rain intermittently from 2:00 in the morning. Users stated that in the cities Altagracia de Orituco, Zaraza and Calabozo the downpours were not strong, but there was electrical activity.

From Cojedes, they reported rainfall with thunder.

For its part, in Lara, Yaracuy, Barinas and Bolívar the rains had varying intensity.

El National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) reported that on Wednesday the second tropical wave, with an average speed of 20 kilometers per hour.

“Another convection zone is observed on the coasts of Africa, so the formation of a third wave is possible,” Inameh reported, according to the report from the National Hurricane Center.
