Rains left fallen trees in several areas of the capital

In Casanova and Los Haticos two logs collapsed

The heavy downpours that occurred since early Tuesday morning caused trees to fall and power outages in several parts of the national territory.

The general commander of the Capital District Fire Department, Pablo Palacios, reported that the rains caused an ornamental tree to collapse on Casanova Avenue in the El Recreo parish, specifically in the vicinity of the Hidrocapital headquarters.

He added that the officials along with the staff of the Libertador Municipal Services Corporation attended to the situation.

Likewise, the rainfall caused a tree to fall at the entrance to Los Haticos, at kilometer 13 of the El Junquito parish.

Meanwhile, the Miranda Firefighters reported in X that the Risk Management System was deployed in the La Tabordera sector of the Guaicaipuro municipality, in Los Teques, to address the incident generated by a tree that fell on a power line.

In the municipality, as in Los Salias and Carrizal, there were also failures in the electrical service due to the heavy downpours that fell in the entity, according to the media.
