Risk Management works with communities to prevent incidents due to rain

Minister Ceballos recognized the work carried out by the Simón Bolívar Task Force to protect the lives of Venezuelans and brother peoples.

Given the start of the rainy season, the National Risk Management System, through Civil Protection (PC) and the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) continues to work hand in hand with the communities to guarantee the well-being of the community and prevent incidents, said the Sector Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso.

“We continue to evaluate strategies for the comprehensive prevention of risk management, through a plan that allows us to face the rainy season, together with the teams of the Ministries of Popular Power for Ecosocialism and Public Works,” said Ceballos Ichaso during an activity in 19th anniversary celebration of the creation of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force.

In this sense, he recognized the work carried out by the Task Force to protect the lives of Venezuelans and sister nations. “It is a great team of 25 thousand officials that make up Firefighters, Civil Protection, volunteers and other State institutions, who support these efforts to guarantee the safety and protection of Venezuelan families,” he highlighted.

Likewise, according to a press release from the Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Peace, at the event, the officials of the GJ Humanitarian Task Force. Simón Bolívar, were decorated with the “Order of Peace”, in its Only Class.
