The residents of the Dates Patrias sector of the Sucre neighborhood of the Petare parish, municipality of the same name in the state of Miranda, received a restored multi-use field, which will benefit 450 families in the area.

Mayor José Vicente Rangel Ávalos explained that the work to recover the space that was completely deteriorated was carried out by the national government, the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor and the mayor's office.

He specified that in the place they carried out the reconstruction of the walls with a new frieze and painting, installation of lighting so that night sports practices could be held, as well as placing the basketball boards and hoops.

Rangel Ávalos noted that in the Sucre municipality more than 20 sports fields have been recovered in which sports materials have been delivered to the quintets and clubs.

“If a ball, a ball or any other sports implement wears out, we will replace it so that the tournaments or practices do not stop,” said the local president, who assured that they will continue to improve spaces for the training of girls, boys and young people, the golden generation of the Sucre municipality.
