This Tuesday the rains continue in much of the country

The rains are a product of the interaction of the Intertropical Convergence Zone with the atmospheric instability associated with tropical wave 18 that is moving towards the west of the country.

This Tuesday, rains of varying intensity, drizzles and showers continue in much of the country, said the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) in its account on the social network X.

In this regard, he specified that the Intertropical Convergence Zone remains very active, interacting with the atmospheric instability associated with tropical wave number 18, which is moving from the center to the west of the country. These meteorological conditions favor the formation of cloud covers that generate moderate precipitation and showers with electrical activity, the institute explained.

According to these conditions, for the first hours of the morning a sky with fragmented cloudiness associated with rainfall of variable intensity is expected in Guayana Esequiba, Delta Amacuro, southwest of Anzoátegui, Bolívar, Amazonas, Miranda, La Guaira, Capital District, Aragua, Yaracuy, Carabobo, Central and Western Llanos and Falcón.

Meanwhile, after noon, an increase in cloud cover is expected, “generating rains and showers with electrical activity, being more intense and frequent in areas of our Guayana Esequiba, west of Anzoátegui, Bolívar, north of Amazonas, Miranda, “La Guaira, Capital District, Aragua, Carabobo, Central and Western Plains, Andes and Zulia,” specifies the weather bulletin of Inameh.

For Greater Caracas Fragmented cloudiness is forecast in the morning hours, associated with rain or drizzle, especially in the east of the region and in mountainous areas, “gradually clouding the rest of the day with rain and occasional electrical discharges,” adds Inameh in another publication in X.

The maximum temperature for the capital city is estimated at 29°C, while the minimum is around 19°C.

As for the waves, it is expected to reach 1 meter in height on the Eastern and Central coasts; 1,5 meters high in the Island Zone, and 2 meters high on the Western coast.
