This Thursday, rains of varying intensity will continue in much of the country, reported the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) through its account on the social network X.

In this regard, he specified that for morning hours Rain-producing cloudiness is expected in several entities.

Among these are Guayana Esequiba, Bolívar, Amazonas, Guárico, Apure, Barinas, Táchira, Mérida and Zulia. Meanwhile, fragmented cloudiness is expected for the rest of the country.

According to Inameh, these meteorological conditions are caused by activity in the Intertropical Convergence Zone, which is reinforced by diurnal warming. Furthermore, it is reported that the tropical wave number 4 moves in the center of the national territory.

More rain in the afternoon and evening

In its report, Inameh points out that after noon an increase in cloud cover is estimated in most of the country.

These conditions will produce rainfall of variable intensity and electrical discharges, which will be more intense and frequent in areas of Guayana Esequiba, Bolívar, Amazonas, Sucre, Monagas, Anzoategui, Miranda, Capital District, La Guaira, Carabobo, Central and Western Llanos, Aragua, the Andes and Zulia.

In another publication, the institution detailed that for Greater Caracas, partially cloudy skies with variable rainfall are expected in the morning hours. For the rest of the day, fragmented cloudiness is expected with rainfall of variable intensity and electrical activity in the afternoon and evening. The maximum temperature for the capital will be 29°C and the minimum will be 19°C.
