Caracas Mayor's Office remains active addressing impacts due to rain

In the Coche parish, the terrain of the road was re-planned after landslides occurred

Teams from the Mayor's Office of Caracas remain on permanent deployment to address the various effects caused by the torrential rains of the last few hours in different areas of the capital.

This was highlighted by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Melendez, through his account on the social network X, in which he detailed that the mayor's crews are in the Coche parish to carry out various tasks.

“In the Coche parish, La Rinconada, Divino Niño sector, the terrain of the road was re-planned, after landslides occurred after the recent rains,” he stated.

Likewise, this Friday, teams from the Caracas Mayor's Office carried out work to collect mixed solid waste, cleaning work and comprehensive weeding work, after the damage caused by the rains on Friday night.

From that day on, Caracas mayoral teams were deployed throughout the capital city to attend to incidents caused by precipitation the previous day.

In this sense, in El Valle they collected 18 cubic meters of soil that slid onto Calle 2. Likewise, they attended to falling trees on the Valle – Coche highway, and carried out prevention work such as cleaning and collecting garbage in torrents and ravines.

The mayor's office indicated that it remains active in responding to all the reports that come from the communities due to the effects caused by the rains.
